PhotoMarx is the photography work of brothers Philip and Hennie Marx who share a passion for all things relating to photography. Capturing stunning photographs has for a long time been one of our hobbies and we decided that it was time to invest more in this hobby and create a business opportunity for ourselves by doing something we enjoy so much.

PhotoMarx is based in Johannesburg and we offer our photography services in and around Johannesburg (and the greater Gauteng area).

We are prepared to venture out of the concrete jungle should the work take us there. We love the outdoors and welcome any opportunity to get into nature to photograph the beautiful places, amazing venues and adventure sports events that is to be found all over our country.

We are committed to hard work and make sure we do only our best with whatever projects we take on. We believe in absolute customer satisfaction and value for money. Without wanting to sound arrogant, we can honestly say we are always striving for perfection and continuous improvement in our work and products. We only use quality equipment like Canon cameras and Tamron lenses and make use of the highest quality printing for all our printed photographs.

Both of us have done some studying at the Vega School of Photography and are looking forward to doing some more learning at this prestigious college in the near future. We regularly attend road shows and expos and subscribe to photographic magazines and other media relating to the field of photography.

We are part of a network of like minded people with whom we are in contact with regularly. Sharing tips and techniques and always learning from each other. Obviously it is important for us to stay up to date with the continuous changes in this industry to ensure we deliver the best service to our customers. 

PhotoMarx photography caters for kiddies parties, birthday parties, all types of corporate functions, team building exercises, product launches, product catalogues, family functions and events like babtisms, matric farewells, weddings and the list goes on . . . .
